Live Colors for Kids App teaches your child their colors in a fun, coloring book environment. The app is great for learning colors (including mixing colors for older kids), project follow-through, positive reinforcement and creativity.
Kids can choose from 20 pre-set drawings or create their own. Easily tap any color on the paint pallet and the app will say the color when they touch for immediate sensory recognition. There is an open pallet on the bottom left for older kids to mix colors. Simply choose a color then tap the pallet. Choose another color and tap the same spot of the pallet. The app will magically mix the two colors and say the new color. Use the water drop icon to remove the mixed color from the pallet.
When coloring, the apps gives spoken cues like “fantastic” for positive reinforcement. Once the majority of the interactive picture is colored in, trumpets will sound and hundreds of confetti stars congratulate your child for finishing the picture. Snap a picture of the coloring page (using the camera icon in the upper left-hand corner) and that particular page will be stored in “my drawings” book on the main page of the app. From the “my drawings” book you can even share coloring pages through social media, e-mail or print them for the refrigerator.
The Live Colors for Kids App is built for kids under five. New content will be added to the app in August/September. This is a great app to keep kids entertained during summer vacation and educational too! Get it FREE in the iTunes Store today!
