No school Monday which made for a perfect excuse to host a Presidents’ Day PJ DisneySide @Home Celebration! The Gifting Experts were recently chosen to host a DisneySide party and graciously sent the official welcome kit. The kit contained Disney napkins, cups, balloons, plates, tablecloth and banner, Disney tattoos and stickers, Disney Bingo, trivia, face painting kits, HP photo card packs, Disney vacation planning DVDs, Disney cookie cutters and cupcake wrappers, 6-pack of Craisins® Dried Cranberries and coupons, American Tourister Luggage, Measuring cups and recipe cards from ABC’s The Chew.
Guests included 14 kids from ages 3-10 (and respective parents). The DisneySide party started with a Mickey inspired breakfast. Each guest was treated to a custom made Mickey donut created with the help of a local donut shop. To make the donuts yourself you’ll need half a glazed donut, half a chocolate covered glazed donut and two chocolate covered donut holes. It’s super easy! A strawberry slice Mickey was also added with red grapes for the ears. Guests were also treated to banana and cinnamon muffins in the Disney cupcake wrappers and hot chocolate and orange juice. A mickey bagel bar and egg casserole rounded out the breakfast (we used the mickey cookie cutter to make the egg casserole extra fun!) Everyone loved the yummy Craisins, they make great snacks for kids and adults alike!
Each guest received a Disney Love is in the Air poster (shown in pic above next to muffins), Disney stickers, Disney playing cards, Mickey Rubix cube and more!
The guests were entertained during the party playing Disney Bingo, card games with their Mickey playing cards, painted and colored in their Disney activity books and watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on TV. They also enjoyed applying the Disney temporary tattoos and our resident artist, Tori, used the provided Disney face painting templates to help the kids show their #DisneySide. Each guest was also treated to a personalized HP photo. We used a few photo props like a 52″ Mickey balloon (purchased separately), oversized glasses and stuffed Mickeys to help the guests remember their DisneySide @Home Celebration memories.
We had lots of fun planning the party and watching the kids enjoy all of the DisneySide inspired food and activities. A huge thanks to Disney Parks Team, Mom Select and kit sponsors including American Tourister Luggage.
